Hurting families need access to practical help so they can avoid divorce

Brokenness affects all of us in one way or another. The impact of a broken marriage is far-reaching and can be felt for multiple generations. A 2019 report by Statistics Canada noted that 18 per cent of children aged 1-17 will experience the divorce or separation of their parents – that’s almost 1 in 5 children!

Too often couples feel like divorce or separation is their only option when their relationship becomes strained. At Focus on the Family Canada, we know there’s another way and we want to make it available to even more Canadian families.

On March 1, 2023, Focus on the Family Canada purchased a property in Ontario to expand ministry to more families in need of life-changing support. This location, now called Kerith Waters, will allow the highly successful Hope Restored marriage intensive program to be within a two-hour drive for more than nine million people.

Will you become a foundational partner in the Kerith Waters Ministry Expansion initiative to expand retreat programs and ministry to Ontario and Eastern Canada by creating a local presence in Ontario?

With your partnership, we can increase the number of Hope Restored marriage intensives being held in Ontario, as well as introduce Kerith Ministry Leader Retreats and All-Inclusive Marriage Enrichment Retreats at this location.
